Kristin Tingey is a multimedia artist who works predominantly in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, on both MAC and PC computers.
During college, her studies didn't necessarily make her a better artist, but an exceptionally quick learner who is adaptable and retains information well. This is a skill that can be utilized in every aspect of life and career.
With her business partner throughout college, she has run a startup business (Kirin Comics) in comic books and magazines for printing. This has taught her essential tools in the craft and in making tough business choices. This is a hobby business rather than a franchise, but the lessons are always a source of personal growth and knowledge.
Krisitn graduated with her BFA in Art and Photography at Utah State University in 2021 with minors in Art History and Entrepreneurship. She earned her MFA degree in Visual Development at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. For two years, she trained as a work-study in photography, creating social media advertisements and assisting in photoshoots and set building. For 2+ years, she has worked as a Graphic Designer for screen printing at Lone Rock Clothing, making merchandise for tourist attraction locations including; National Parks, Amusement Parks, National Monuments, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C., etc.
Kristin doesn't use A.I. in any personal work, she is capable of learning and executing on her own.
